Rae Bakka

IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Rae Bakka

December 7, 1927 - November 9, 2015

Rae Bakka, a longtime resident, died Monday,

Nov. 9,2015 
at Golden Living Center-Oak Hill 

in Middleboro. 
Rae was born December 7, 1927,

in Boston, daughter of 
Charles and Helen Franz.

She was raised with 3 sisters, 
May Allen, Helen Hanson,

Claire Forbes, and a brother, John Allen, 
all of

whom predeceased her.


Rae married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Bakka,

in 1951. 
He preceded her in death July 30, 2000,

leaving her broken hearted. 
She had several lifelong

friends, her closest, Dotty Glassford 
passed away

unexpectedly this past February.
 

Rae's door was always open to family, friends and

neighbors, 
she loved to entertain.

Rae liked crafts, puzzles, 
and painting, but her favorite

pastime was watching old black 
and white movies.

She loved the dancing. She became an 
immediate fan

of Dancing With the Stars. Rae also had a 


tremendous love

for animals. 
She is survived by several nieces,

nephews, great-nieces,


and great-nephews who are scattered from 

Massachusetts to Florida.  

At her request, there were no services. 

Rae 
was buried with Bob at the 

Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne,

November 10, 2015.

Mary Antoinette (Procopio) Leach

Mary Antoinette (Procopio) Leach


March 11, 1920 - July 23, 2015
Mary Antoinette Leach was born on March 11, 1920 in Brockton Massachusetts and passed away on July 23, 2015. Mary is survived by her son Dennis Leach and his wife Phyllis of Charleston South Carolina and her two daughters Leslie Traverso and her husband Gene of Santa Rosa California and Suzanne Sullivan of San Diego. Mary also leaves four grandchildren; Tara, David, Lourdes and Marc, as well as 10 great grandchildren; Mike, Lacie, Ashlyn, Braden, Makenna, Jason, Justin, Grant, Avery and Cole to cherish her memory. She will be missed by her family and loving friends.
Mary's funeral service will be at St. Francis of Assisi, 525 W. Vista Way, Vista, CA 92083 (760-945-8000)
Her final resting place is Melrose Cemetery in Brockton Massachusetts (508-580-7833)

This wonderful woman was married to my grandmother's Brother.  My grandmother, Beatrice and Mary were best friends.  You would NEVER see Aunt Mary with anything but a big smile on her face.  



We will never forget your beautiful smile!  XO

Georgette (Kamel) Attieh

Georgette Attieh

July 17, 1936 - August 19, 2014
Georgette (Kamel) Attieh, 78, of Orlando, FL, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Hospice of the Comforter in Florida.  She was the wife of the late Charble Attieh.
Born July 17, 1936 in Akoura, Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Elias Kamel and Susan (Ackel) Kamel.
Georgette had worked for Mid East Baking, George’s CafĂ©, Garland Mills, Rena Sports and Brockwood Nursing Home.
She loved cooking, gardening, sewing and spending time with her granddaughter. Georgette was loved instantly after meeting her.
She is survived by her children, George Attieh, Richard Attieh and Dolly Attieh Colleran; her granddaughter, Michaela Colleran; her sisters, Angie Kamel and Therese Assacker; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Information

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Tuesday, August 26th at 9:00AM thence to St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church, 343 No. Main St., Brockton where the Service of the Devine Mysteries will be celebrated at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.  Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Monday from 4:00-8:00PM with an Incense Service at 5:00PM.
